Ricardo Suazo (he/him)
I am a London-based artist, designer and thinker. Originally from the Dominican Republic, my practice explores the interplay between different facets of my racial and sexual identities.
My output extends across Painting, Photography, Moving Image, Dance and Spoken Word. This poly-disciplinary approach allows me to piece together a colourful, vibrant artistic practice.
As a queer man living in London, my practice is deeply affected by the city and it’s queer techno scene. I follow a research-led approach and employ fine art methods to capture and communicate the energy.
I hold a Masters of Research from the Royal College of Art and have shown work at the RCA’s Dyson Gallery, V&A, Chisenhale Art Place and the Slade School of Fine Art.
